ALL GAMES - VERY IMPORTANT: Be sure you are aware of of the most up-to-date errata and card text changes. Several cards have very different effects with their updated texts. All players are responsible for knowing the current card texts. Official Yu-Gi-Oh! card updates can be found here. Unfortunately Upper Deck does not provide a concise all encompassing page for all Vs. System card updates. However, you can visit http://www.upperdeckentertainment.com/op/vs_rules/. Here you can find an updated OCR (Official Card Reference) along with errata changes. Current Naruto errata can be found here http://www.bandaicg.com/naruto/forumdisplay.php?f=8 (site registration may be required).

What should I bring?
Bring your own cards/deck! Cards are available for purchase; however, most players want to make up a deck before hand (Does not apply to sealed pack events).
Calculator - If you require one for score keeping. (Pencils and scrap paper are available)
Die/Dice - If needed for card requirements.
Your UDE Membership Registration Card or nine-digit UDE Membership Number (XXX-XXX-XXX).
Money for tournament entry, food, transportation etc... It is good to have a little more than you expect to use in case something comes up.

What is a UDE Membership number?
This is a blue and white card all players must fill out before competing in a UDE sanctioned event (YU-GI-OH!, VS. System, WOW etc...).  If you have been to a mall tour, regional event, local store, etc.. you have most likely already filled one out.  If you do not have one they are available at our tournaments to be filled out before the tournament starts.
Players who have membership numbers from the old system (from fall 2003 or earlier) must register for numbers assigned under the new system. All of the new numbers are nine digits and are normally represented in the following format: xxx-xxx-xxx.

This is an example a UDE MEMBERSHIP CARD (FRONT). Players are given the right section of the card. The tournament organizer keeps the left section.

Can I sell cards to other people?
NO! Under no circumstances is anyone allowed to buy or sell cards from one another in or around the tournament area. Obviously you may purchase from any legitimate retailers who have setup at the show or from us. Anyone attempting to sell cards to participants or spectators will be asked to leave.

Can I trade cards with other people?
You can trade with other people in attendance at one of the events. However, you may not interfere with anyone during a match, nor may you cause any delay or hindrance to the normal operation of any of the event. Also, when trading, please be aware some younger children do not have permission to trade. If you suspect or know a child is not allowed to trade, simply do not discuss any trading with them.
